Week 1 - Watch My Dad Change

Today we had some special guests visit our workout. All I can say is thank you Dad.
...........................>
My father did an entire exercise routine with a, News Channel 8, camera in the room. This is not usually a comfortable idea when you are beginning an exercise program. Thank you Dad for working hard and letting other people benefit from seeing our workouts.
And thank you Jim, Elizabeth, and shadows from News Channel 8 for coming by and allowing us to share what we are doing. Hope to see you again soon.
Update:
We hit our goal for the week: 251.8 lbs.
2 lbs. lost almost exactly.
Next weeks goal will be get under 250.
Even better than that the posture is improving and his technique in the exercises is getting better. He is already stronger (don't tell him I said that) I can tell by the way he is holding his body and the intensity of the exercises. Great posture allows us to work harder by decreasing the risk of injury. Also great posture and proper excution can actually make you feel GOOD when you finish an exercise routine.
The Routine:
We are now into the second week and settling into our workouts a little more. The plan for these workouts is to do the same routine until the first trip out of town. (he travels alot). So we are trying to build understanding of the exercises so he can perform them on his own with excellent technique. We always start with a general warm-up, break into the exercise routine, and ALWAYS end with a stretch. What I was telling my Dad today, "the stretching may be the most important thing we do." It can have amazing effects.
The Exercises:
We are doing mostly body weight and exercise band exercises because he will be doing this in his hotel room when he is out of town.
We will post my Dads comments later check back soon. Checkout the rest of my site: www.talltrainer.com
