Week 4 - one month update
Weight: 247.5
Loss Total = 6 Pounds
% body fat loss = 4.4%
Lean Body Mass = 6.7 Pounds increased
Inches Lost = 4.55 inches total
Total Body Fat Lost = 12.7 Pounds!!!
Well it has been officially one month on the program.
Last week Ed (my father) was out of town. Those of you who have been following might notice a slight back step with the overall pounds lost. He gained a pound over last week. We still have some strategies to workout for his travels. But Weight loss rarely occurs linearly. This means that we don't go crazy if it is up at one measurment because it might be down double at the next. It takes several weeks to be sure of a trend.
I was looking forward to these measurements because that is where the results of all his hard work was going to show up. And it did. He lost 2 inches at his waist alone and increased his abdominal strength by over 63%. His blood pressure is lower and some areas of flexibility have significantly increased (over 10 degrees of motion).
Dad was a little down that his weight was higher than last week as we started the measurements. But after I gave him his results print out it helped to show that the improvements have been damatic.
The highlight was when you calculate lean body mass gain (6.7 lbs.) and weight loss (6 lbs.) you can see that he has lost over 12 pounds of body fat!!!
The plan for this weekend?
Well I was going to try to talk him into standing with me at the PTO sale on Saturday 18th from 9 am - 3 pm at the Canandaigua Elementary School (I will be there if you have any questions or would like to see some of my books and videos)
I could not ask him to do that knowing that HUNTING SEASON will have just started. So he will get his workout in the woods this weekend. I've given him some stretches to do. With his new strength and improved posture he is going to really enjoy the soggy weather.
Next Week - we will have some new pictures and an update on the hunting.
